World Parliament Experiment at its core represents a democratic international body to manage fundamental questions troubling the world. It stands out by focusing on supporting the social justice cause for world peace, justice, equity and hosting campaigns involving global citizens, who allow people to vote on important issues to enable communal voting for a good future.
2. Project Objective
The objectives of the World Parliament Experiment are to enhance the design and GUI/HS of the website along with the correction of issues on a few key pages. Moreover, users cannot vote without an OTP since the voting process is secured. By doing so, it ensures each vote to be authentic so that the security of the voting process can be enhanced. This is by increasing customers satisfactions, easy and smooth navigation so as to increase the traffic flow on the sites. The platform has been developed using Symfony, PHP, jQuery, and MySQL technologies.
3. Solutions Provided
Solutions in the World Parliament Experiment are: making the user number field mandatory during registration, voting, and profile updates. Also, for such actions, users will be asked to provide an OTP in order to improve security levels on the site. This is to guarantee that all types of user interactions are authenticated and secure, further enhancing the value of the site’s safety.
4. Challenges Faced
Some of the issues raised in the World Parliament Experiment point out the relevance of scenario testing. This approach calls for rigorous testing practices to ensure that all application features work as they should while maintaining high standards of security. Also, the current UI/UX layout needs improvement to make the site more appealing to the users. These aspects need to be effectively tackled so that all its aspects run well and meet several users’ expectations.
